Handwoven by weavers in Amnat Charoen Province, Thailand, from sustainably harvested sedge reeds. Each one is dyed in small batches, so the tone and weave shift slightly from piece to piece. No two are identical.
Finished with a colorfast coating and built for daily use: under glasses, under candles, or layered together on a table. The variation in texture and color is what handmade looks like.

Carved from solid teak with soft curves and a fire-warmed finish. The character comes from traditional Thai firewood stoves, where soot, heat, and flame leave their mark. The rounded base echoes the shape of clay pots once blackened by cooking fires.
Empty is a fine way for this to spend most of its life. Best styled solo or paired with a few dried stems.

Carved using Shou Sugi Ban, a traditional Japanese firewood technique. The curves take their shape from the movement of flame, and the process leaves the surface dark and textured while the wood grain still shows through underneath.
